How to read this list
Every jurisdiction below is tracked. Research runs a jurisdiction at a time, so the number beside each one moves as its law is read. A name with no link is a jurisdiction we track and have not researched to a stage yet; a number after a country counts subdivisions not listed here, and a link jumps to the ones researched separately, below. The law is moving quickly in 193 of the 257, so most entries here are expected to change. See the same jurisdictions on a map.
The band above counts three things. Laws are read from the citations, so two acts codified in one chapter of a code may count as one; that count errs toward fewer, never more. Obligations are the requirement lines the provisions below carry, 5,713 of them binding, counted from the register of 2026-09-21. Jurisdictions are the places the list names. No document count: LexLint holds no text and links the official one.
