The Act establishes an AI Strategic Headquarters within the Cabinet and requires the government to adopt an AI Basic Plan (Chapters III and IV), and states the national government's, local governments', research institutes', and AI-utilization business operators' basic responsibilities toward AI research, development, and use (Chapter I).
