  • On receiving a host's self-declaration, and before you allow the host to use your services, make best efforts, using the lists Member States make available under Article 13(1), point (a), to assess whether the self-declaration is complete, where the assessment can be carried out proportionately by automated tools.
  • After you allow a host to offer the services, make reasonable efforts to check at random, on a regular basis, the hosts' declarations about whether a registration procedure exists and, where one does, the validity of the registration number provided, using the functionalities of the single digital entry points.
  • Inform the competent authorities and the hosts, without undue delay, of the results of those random checks concerning incorrect declarations of hosts, the misuse of a registration number or invalid registration numbers.
