What it requires

  • Applies to moviehouses and theaters exhibiting a motion picture the MTRCB has classified “Restricted” or “For Adults Only”, and to their employees; it names physical admission to those screenings, not online services.
  • Do not sell to, or accept from, a person under 18 an admission ticket to a screening of such a film. It is also unlawful for a person under 18 to enter, or to misrepresent or use false evidence of age to gain admission.
  • Where you doubt a person's age, require the person seeking admission to exhibit a residence certificate or other proof of age.
