Article 25A, inserted by Article 68 of Law 5218/2025, gives associations of persons under Article 61 of the Civil Code that have a legitimate interest in representing persons with disabilities, and public bodies entrusted with defending the collective interests of persons with disabilities or with ensuring compliance with the Act, the right to bring a collective action.

The collective action can seek that economic operators handling products and service providers refrain from unlawful conduct that breaches the Act, and interim measures to secure the requirements of the Act for that purpose.

Article 25A(2) requires the action to be brought within an exclusive period of eighteen months from when the association or public body learned of the unlawful conduct and in any case within three years of its last occurrence, and lets the court order provisional enforcement of its decision. Article 25A(3) gives exclusive jurisdiction over the action to the Multi-Member Court of First Instance of the defendant's residence or seat.

Article 80(1) of Law 5218/2025 starts its force from publication in the Government Gazette, unless its provisions state otherwise.
