The opening provision of article 69 places on the public authorities the duty to ensure the availability of correct and clear information about the products and services offered, by any means of communication, including the virtual environment.

Under paragraph 1, online sales channels and advertisements placed in the press, on the internet, on radio and television and in other open or subscription media must offer, as far as the medium allows, the accessibility resources of article 67, at the expense of the supplier of the product or service. Paragraph 1 applies without prejudice to the observance of articles 36 to 38 of the Consumer Defence Code.

Article 67 lists those resources as closed captioning, a Libras interpreter window and audio description, among others. Under paragraph 2, suppliers must provide, on request, copies of package leaflets, prospectuses, texts or any other publicity material in an accessible format.
